On Saturday 20th October, Rob Mott completed his second Charity run in the space of two weeks! This time it was the Great South Run where he completed the course in 1.5 hours.
The event takes place in Portsmouth over a fast and flat 10 mile route. The Great South Run is part of an incredible weekend of running that also includes the Great South 5k and Junior Mini Great South Run.
More importantly, he was able to finish the last mile of the run with a blind lady called Helen. Rob said, “It was a truly inspirational moment, hugely motivational and the only part of the race where I had a tingling sensation throughout my body – an incredible sense of achievement for such a fantastic charity.”
To date, Rob has raised almost £2,500 for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) and if you haven’t donated yet, there is still time so please do if you can.
