Suzanne has had an illustrious career within lettings spanning over two decades within both corporate and independent businesses. This has allowed her to identify the strengths and weaknesses in both business types and to introduce a business structure amalgamating the positives. She has an in-depth understanding of all of her teams’ roles and the challenges faced within the industry.
Suzanne has substantial experience in new start up offices and acquisitions and an avid commitment to keep up to date with ever changing lettings legislation. Her priority is to offer a first-class customer service experience at all times and to ensure that landlords receive the best possible advice and protection. A passionate advocate of training and development, she has put in place a training programme to allow all lettings staff to be offered the opportunity to study for a level 3 property management qualification and ensures that all staff are kept up to date with legislation changes.. She remains committed to continually reviewing operational procedures to enable efficiency, whilst still retaining the personal touch that is so essential in a customer orientated business.
Having led Charters lettings for almost six years she is incredibly proud of the progress the business has made and is intent on continuing this positive advancement.
We are also delighted to confirm that Gina Peters, Head of Landlord & Tenant at Dutton Gregory Solicitors, will be talking about recent changes to industry regulations.
Gina specialised in residential landlord and tenant law over 20 years ago after 6 years as a commercial litigator. She leads the Residential Landlord & Tenant department at Dutton Gregory LLP and generally undertakes the more complex disputes within this field but also drafting and advising on tenancy documentation and compliance.
Her natural compassion and drive to help others is fully reflected in her practice with her focus on what is always best for her clients.
The department has flourished under her leadership and the team helps numerous landlords annually, often needing to navigate the court process. The team is also well-regarded for supporting managing agents in keeping abreast of the ever-changing, complex, and numerous regulations within the private rented sector through the esteemed telephone helpline service.
A regular speaker and trainer Gina enjoys imparting her knowledge to landlords and agents alike, ensuring managing agents maintain and implement their legal lettings knowledge to a high standard, which in turn raises their professionalism with their own clients who are regularly the landlords her department works closely with.
Gina published her first book “Lettings Law for Property Professionals – Your Legal Questions answered” on 2 November 2022 which became an Amazon best seller.

Mark boasts nearly 20 years of experience in the Financial Services sector, having started his journey with HSBC. With a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals, he transitioned into the role of Mortgage Broker in 2010. Over the years, Mark has established a deep understanding of the industry, while cultivating strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
His expertise extends to all types of borrowers, including first-time buyers and seasoned landlords with diverse portfolios or limited companies.
Today, Mark leads a team of 15 at Mortgage Decisions, utilising his knowledge and expertise to secure the best mortgage solutions for his extensive client base. He also dedicates his time to training and mentoring his staff, as well as representing the business at various industry events and shows nationwide.
With over 25 years of experience behind him, Chartered Tax Adviser Tom Lacey has built up impressive experience delivering advice to clients including non-doms, non-UK residents and HNWI. He also offers personal tax advisory services relating to IHT, trusts, expat tax, CGT and self-assessment.
Tom’s specialist offering also lies within Stamp Duty Land Tax and how his clients can reclaim SDLT payments, and carry out compliance checking and taxation status for investors in UK property whether they are resident in the UK or overseas.
Tom trained at Smith & Williamson in Salisbury and went on to work for Dixon Wilson in London and then Moore Barlow Solicitors before joining Azets in June 2017.
When he isn’t at work, Tom enjoys mountain biking, sailing and skiing, and he also plays tennis twice a week.
