There’s a Post Office, Sainsbury’s Local, a delicatessen, doctor’s surgery, hairdressers, several fast food outlets, three pubs and two petrol stations. At nearby Locks Heath Shopping Centre, you’ll find plenty of high street stores including Waitrose and the larger hubs of Southampton and Portsmouth for bigger shopping excursions.
Sarisbury Green is the ideal place to sit and relax, while Swanwick Marina offers the perfect place to watch the yachts come and go or indeed, store your own vessel.
Park Gate and its surrounding area is a wonderful place to raise children and has its own primary school. Residents are also in catchment for Brookfield Secondary School, about one mile away. Southampton and Portsmouth also both have great universities if you or your child are ready to continue their education further.
