The M27 lies to the north, making travel by road quick and easy. Meanwhile, Southampton’s international airport is local and convenient, and ferries to the Channel Islands and France depart regularly from Portsmouth.

Locks Heath Infant School and Locks Heath Junior School both have good Ofsted ratings and there are other schools to choose from in the surrounding villages. The area’s secondary school is Brookfield Community School in neighbouring Sarisbury Green, and there are options to continue through to university study at both Southampton and Portsmouth.
